This policy explains what personal information SBE PM collects, why, and what you can do about it. I have tried to keep it plain and short.
Who I am
SBE PM (Simple but Effective Project Management) is run by Aaron Graves (“I”, “me”). I am responsible for the personal information described here. You can contact me at aaron@sbepm.com.
What I collect
- When you sign up for the Starter Kit: your first name, your email address, the date you signed up, and which download you asked for.
- About the emails I send you: whether you opened them and which links you clicked. My email service records this.
- When you visit the website: standard technical information such as your approximate location, browser type and the pages you view. The website provider collects this, and may use cookies to do so.
- When you write to me: your message and the email address you send it from.
Why I use it, and my legal basis
- To send you the Starter Kit and the emails you asked for. Basis: your consent. You can withdraw it at any time.
- To reply to your messages. Basis: my legitimate interest in answering you.
- To understand which pages are useful and to keep the site secure. Basis: my legitimate interest.
I do not sell your personal information.
Who handles your information
I use these services to run the site. Each processes information for me under its own privacy terms:
- WordPress.com (Automattic): hosts the website and provides visitor statistics.
- MailerLite: stores my email list and sends my emails.
- Zapier: passes your signup details from my email service to my database.
- Airtable: stores my subscriber records.
I may add other tools later, such as website analytics or a payment provider, and I will update this page when I do.
Transfers abroad
These services may store or process your information in other countries, including the United States and countries in the European Union. They apply their own safeguards for such transfers.
How long I keep it
I keep your subscriber details until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete them. If you unsubscribe, I may keep a minimal record so that I do not email you again.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see the information I hold about you, correct it, delete it, ask me to limit or stop using it, and withdraw your consent. Every email I send has an unsubscribe link. To use any other right, write to aaron@sbepm.com. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Cookies
The website provider may set cookies that are needed for the site to work and to measure visits. Some of the sites I link to, including affiliate partners, may set their own cookies when you click through.
Children
This site is meant for adults. I do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.
Changes to this policy
If I change this policy, I will update the date at the top of the page.
